We serve fresh cooked food from Noon every day, please see below for table availability.
Monday CLOSED (Please note that we are open on Bank Holiday Mondays 12.00pm – 6.00pm Food available 12pm-5pm)
Tuesday Open: 5.30pm – 10pm | Food: 6pm – 9pm (Please note that Tuesday’s following a bank holiday we will be closed)
Wednesday to Saturday
Open: 12noon – 10pm | Food: Noon – 9pm
Sunday
Open: 12noon – 6:30pm | Food: Noon – 5pm
Information
Dogs
The Thatcher’s Arms welcomes dogs of the well behaved and ‘on-the leash’ variety. If you’re booking a table, please mention you may bring your four-legged friend as we have designated tables for you. Your Furry friend also has their own menu.
Little Ones & Smaller Appetites
Families with children are most welcome in areas away from the bar. We have changing facilities and high chairs are available on a first come first served basis. Our larger rooms are able to accommodate prams and pushchairs, although in some of our smaller areas this can be tricky!
Accessible Facilities
We have full accessibility including an accessible toilet, and Blue Badge parking bays. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you need any assistance.
Bookings
We take reservations and do suggest to book to avoid disappointment. We do however, keep some tables free for those spontaneous trips and just passing trade. Should it be busy, we run a waiting list so that we can fit you in as soon as possible. We also recommend calling ahead for any specific dietary or access requirements.

We are unable to reserve tables for alfresco dining, these are first come first served.
Private Dining Room
If you’d like to join us with a larger party, our private dining room is available, we can accommodate parties of up to 14 people, Lunch and dinner. PDR is also available for meeting hire, please do contact us for more information.
Service
Head to the bar for drinks, menus and to find out where you’re sitting if you’ve booked.
If a table isn’t reserved you’re welcome to sit at it and have a bite to eat or drink. If you can’t find a table, ask and we’ll try to find one for you.
Food Ordering
Inside – someone will pop over and take your order. Outside patio area – we offer the same great full table service as we do when dining inside.
The Gardens
If you are eating outside, it is a great help if you could make a note of your table number before ordering at the bar.
