We’ll be taking bookings for Christmas Parties to commence from Thursday 27th November 2025.

We have our Private Dining Room, that seats up to 14 people which can be booked from the above date.

All bookings of 10 or more people will require a deposit of £5.00 per person, redeemable on your final bill.

We will also require a pre-order for these larger parties, which can be arranged when booking.

Our Festive menu is available Tuesday to Saturday, but not on Sunday.

We’ve chosen a Festive Menu, so whether it’s Christmas Turkey or one of our Pub Classics, they’ll all be available throughout December.

For bookings on Christmas Day, both the full balance & pre-orders need to be received no later than 30th November 2025.

Roasted pear and celeriac soup, with toasted sourdough (VG)

Wreath making workshop – Sunday 23rd November 

Are you feeling crafty?

Get in the christmas spirit & join us for our wreath making workshop. In partnership with Gemma from Flowers by Renee Marie, who will be here to guide & tutor you through the process. With a glass of mulled wine & some mince pies, there will also be an xmas nibbles menu avaialble for the evening. The workshop will last approximately 2-2.5 hours & starts at 5pm on Sunday the 23rd November.

£55 per person with a deposit of £20 at time of booking.

All materials, wreath, tutorial, mulled wine & mince pies included.

A prize for the best wreath is up for grabs!

Festive winter dog walk – Saturday 6th December 

Get your wellies on, wrap up warm & join us on our winter dog walk. Meet at the pub for 10am for complimentary hot drinks & mince pies, raffle tickets with proceeds going to the Dogs Trust. We will em-bark (pun intended) at 10.30 am on a scenic route around the countryside.

Our walk will take approx 1 hour, then its back to the pub for a well earned pint or (2) & a bite to eat.

Be sure to dress your furry friend in their finest Xmas jumpers as there will be a prize for the best dressed pooch along with raffle prizes back at the pub.

Be sure to get in touch & put your name on the list, bookings for lunch after the walk is recommended to avoid disappointment.

 

Christmas Market – Friday 12th December

Pop down and see us on Friday 12th December and get in the Christmas spirit with a Thatchers Christmas Market from 17:00 – 21:00.

Have a browse around our stalls while sipping on some mulled wine, Bavarian beer and snacking on some authentic German sausages and roasted chestnuts.
