The Thatchers Arms is a rural country pub with stunning views over the Stour Valley on the Essex Suffolk borders serving fresh local food and award winning local ales all with a warm locals welcome.

We have two bars, a function room including a cinema, a large beer garden & car park. We can cater for private parties from sit down meals for up to 70 or more informal buffets and BBQs from 50 to 150 guests.

Our cinema shows some of the latest films on Thursday nights and we also have a bar billiards table, quoits beds, a golf society, mini library & a piano.
