The sprawling nature of The Thatchers lends itself to cater for private functions of all sizes. Our private bar will seat up to 35, our function room will seat up to 72 and combined they can be used for a more informal party of up to 150 with a BBQ or buffet. Our cinema is also available for private hire including food for your guests to enjoy during the film of your choice.

Whether you book for a small family gathering or a large birthday or wedding party, you can be assured that our food is of the same standard and quality as we serve on our menus & specials on a daily basis. We use the same local suppliers and prepare most of our food from scratch on the premisis and take the same care and attention as always.

You can download some sample menus and room hire arrangements, but these are just to give you a flavour of what we do. We prefer to sit down and plan your event with you in person, creating a bespoke menu to suit your tastes & budget. Please note that we do not offer corkage or allow outside caterers (with the exception of cakes), but are happy to try and source or prepare anything you might like.
