We may seem a little hidden away, but The Thatchers is within a short drive of Colchester, Sudbury & Halstead.

Although only a few hundred yards from the railway, we are situated between Bures Station & Chappel & Wakes Colne Station, about a 2 mile walk from each.

The Thatchers is most easily reached by car:
From the A12 take the A1124 Halstead road and turn right at the Chappel viaduct, follow the road past the station for about 2 miles until you reach The Thatchers.
Or from Bures follow the road out of the village towards Colchester and take the first right turn after the national speed limit sign, cross the railway and continue past the church & the Farm Shop, we are situated on the left.
